My 2008 BMW Z4 broke down on the exit leading to CME Smog and Auto Repair and I was just barely able to make it into their parking lot late on a Saturday night. I received a call from the owner, on Monday telling what exactly was wrong (broken housing and hose bringing coolant into the engine which, of course, caused loss of all coolant and a mess under the hood, including on the serpentine belt). I was quoted a price for the repairs, including replacement of the serpentine belt, as they do not do well when they get soiled!!! The repairs had to wait a day, as parts had to be transported from Sacramento to Vacaville. I got a call the next day saying the repairs were completed, the coolant system was pressure tested, and everything was okay. Oh, and they were able to clean off the serpentine belt, so they did NOT need to replace that! I am so glad that they were HONEST enough to not repair a part that would still work and I would not have known if it was truly needing a replacement! In all, I had them do the repair of the housing and hose, get the oil changed and paid less than the original quote! If I lived in Vacaville, I would definitely return!!!!
